i hope i put this in the right spot. i have a sebright hen that i bought in august. she seems very healthy and sweet. her breast bone is very prominent, it sticks out maybe 1/2 an inch. she does not seem thin other than this. she has been this way since i got her, even though i would say she is a bit plumper since i got her the prominence is unchanged . she lays eggs occasionally, i have hatched a few and have 2 healthy chicks to show for it. the other hen that i got at the same time just started to lay and i can't feel her breast bone. is this a cause for concern? could this be normal for sebrights?
