I see why the mods watch over the politics threads lol. all this talk is giving me a headach. I think I will stick with posts that dont talk about politics. I know in a month or 2 this will all be forgotten

It was a live shot, the ones I saw, and that was the first thing they mentioned was his color not his political ideals. I'm done with this thread, my BP is too high already.

I imagine if the positions were reversed and we just elected our first white president yesterday there'd be some pretty excited white people running around too. I can't wait till race is a non issue no matter what we're talking about. I hope I live that long.

Ha hahahaha Please read some of my posts before you freak. I said I would be supportive of whomever was our president because the position commands it and I am an AMERICAN!! and a proud one

And I definitely think I have more choices than the ones you've offered. Please we are all getting alonf on here, surprisingly, until this mess. Please control yourself. I am a happy person who will be happy tomorrow and the next day...despite this and your comment

I am better off now,financially,then I was 8 years ago,but it doesn't have anything to do with who was president. It had everything to do with the fact that my DH and I are both hard workers and that we exercized self-control and said"NO!!" to credit. That meant sacrifice and not keeping up with the rest of our neighbors. Like I said,Obama was not my choice and I am uneasy,but I intend to continue to conduct myself the same way. I don't think we can blame any one person for the problems the USA is facing. We need to be personally responsible,regardless of who is in the White House.
