So I have a hen who acts like she wants to go broody, but not quite there yet. Is there anything I can do to help her along?? I really want to have chicks so badly! I was thinking of letting her hatch some of our fertilized eggs plus order some EE or others... Where does everyone buy their fertilized eggs from?? Thanks for the info!!

You can't really force a hen to go broody. Some breeds have the broodiness bred out of them.
Good Luck!

I have a RIR and BR that seem like they want to. They yell at me and flatten out on the nest. I have continued to remove the eggs under them because they just don't seem too serious. They still get up and they have all of their feathers. I don't know... I guess I'll have to wait :/

I don't recall ever hearing about being able to force a hen to go broody, Barred Rock hens do sit on their eggs, but not very often. I have yet to get a barred rock that has sat on her own eggs, but my friend's Barred Rock has.
