forgive my stupid question

hi, i bought 3 8 wk hens yesterday and the man told me they were buff orpingtons but the are white! do they change colour or is it more likely they are white orpingtons?

DId he say they were orpingtons, or buff orpingtons? Yes, they come in white, but buffs should be buff from hatching, not white.

yes he did say they were buff. but i thought that was wrong, i'm not too worried though as they are all very lovely. the other thing tho is that they have fluffy cheeks. is that an orpington thing?
