Forgotten Eggs

I went on vacation and the grands forgot to collect! Do I need to discard the dozen eggs? (I only have 2 girls left so I don't get many eggs)

Depends on your outdoor temperature and if the eggs are dirty or not. My motto is when in doubt throw them out when it comes to eggs.

You can always do the test where you put them in water and see if they float or sink

That will tell you if they're old, but she already knows how old the oldest ones are. It won't tell her if they've suffered from being exposed to high heat. I'd pitch 'em.
