Hello everyone,
I am new to the forum and to Chickens! I have 4 Golden Comet hens and one B B Red bantam rooster. The rooster came first and I raised him from a wee little guy and decided I wanted to try some hens for laying. Rutherford the Rooster is 6 months old and my hens Ellie May, Rosita, Henrietta, and Key Key are 10 weeks.
Along with raising chickens and loving it, we have two dogs Bella and Rags, both are rescue dogs, Bella is Shi Tzu and Rags is Shi Tzu and Terrier. I have many hobbies, genealogy is my passion, painting signs, crafts, and refinishing furniture. I am a wife, mother and grandmother, I drive a school bus which is the most amazing job (I love kids but I also like working only 3 hours a day lol).
Well I'm excited to be here and look forward to learning more about my new adventure, Chickens!
