Foul Pox or Small Wounds?

Okay so I noticed a few itty bitty black spots on about 5 of my chickens, I was wondering if this was early signs of Foul Pox or just from them nipping each other. I’ve been doing a lot of looking at pictures of foul pox but each one I see is like full blown big scabs mine just a few black spots. I’ll try and get some pictures in the morning.

Peck marks are usually jet black. Foul pox looks a bit different in each chicken, but it can appear as biege to tan to dark brown scabs. There may be only one or two, or a lot, and they usually are seen on the comb, face, and wattles, but can be on the feathered areas more rarely. Here is a good link about pox:

I got it off of BYC. The op thought is was fowl pox but it is peck wounds. I am not going to debate you anymore on threads over whether something is peck marks or fowl pox. Here is the thread:

Okay I’m pretty sure they are just peck wounds but ill definitely keep an eye on them. Thanks for the links/pics <3
