Found Chicken dead

I went out to lock up my chickens for the night and noticed one was missing. I found her outside of their fenced area. She is known to get out and explore the unfenced area. No feathers around her, no blood, just her head and neck gone. No other injuries to her body. What could this be? I’ve had hawks get them before but that’s usually very messy and they still have their neck and head. Thanks for the help.

What type of fencing is the run comprised of? Raccoons are known to reach through fencing and tear off heads.

They have access to a big fenced in area. Lately a few of them have been sitting on the roof of the coop at night instead of going in to the coop. I have been physically getting them off and putting them in the coop. I lock them up at dusk every evening. I’m guessing she was either on top of the coop or completely out of their fenced area. I found her in my backyard - not near the coop. There were no signs of an attack at all. No feathers around, no blood, just the headless body
