Found Dead Hen, What Could Be The Cause?

We found one of our chickens dead today. It doesn't look like a predator. Could it be worms? If so how do I tell?
We found her about 20 minutes ago.

Not enough information. Like all animals, including humans, there are hundreds of diseases and parasites that can take them out. Worms won't just kill chickens in a snap. They will become emaciated and often have nasty feces for a while. If there weren't any other symptoms, I doubt it was worms. I had a bird with no symptoms die overnight. It turned out she was too fat. I did a necropsy and every organ was encased in fat. I immediately put the rest of her flock on a diet.
