Hello everyone,

My boss found a baby duck in the middle of the road yesterday. He brought it to the office after trying to reunite it with its owner/other ducks. I took it home since I recently raised some chickens and have the brooder/heat lamp ready to go.

Anyways, I am curious if anyone out there might be able to help give me details on age, type/breed, gender?

Thanks in advance,

So many times these little ones get left behind especially this time of year. Poor lil thing needs some good care. And @theblah it's against the law to have a wild gosling or ducklings I thinks it's great your wanting to help but I sure don't want you to get a big fine for trying to help it out. Really would be best to hand it over to those experienced in raising wild birds to stay wild.
