Well, I haven't asked something on here for a while!
Anyways, my ducks had pretty much stopped laying eggs a month ago when they had a fertile batch. I know have three new baby ducklings in my yard, but yesterday I found another egg. It wasn't in its usual place, meaning the shed or the kennel I have put out for them. It was in the middle of the yard, covered in dirt, not being cared about by my female who should have been with it. I put it up, a bit perplexed, seeing as both females had stopped laying and I now have a little tiny egg. Well, I forgot about it outside, and when I grabbed it this morning and did my routine candling, I saw a dark vein running through it.
So, I'm in a pickle. I don't know if it's still alive after being outside alone in about 60F temperatures. I also don't have an incubator of any sort if it still is. I'm just looking for any sort of help, but I sadly can't provide pictures to help. Right now at least. Thanks!
