Found rooster needs a home

We found a rooster that was dumped near the creek by our house in Elk Grove, CA. He looks to be a Rhode Island Red. Neighbors said a dog got hold of him but he escaped. He appears uninjured but scared. We have three hens and love our girls and had to help him. We caught him and have him safely set up in the garage but can’t keep him. We live in the burbs and it isn’t allowed. If you can rehome him or provide a safe space for him until he waits for a home please message me. If you live in the Elk Grove, Sacramento, Folsom, Roseville or Galt, CA area we will gladly transport.

That’s not a RIR. He looks like a game or game mix. Is he big?
