Found the hidden stash of eggs...

I found a nest of 18 eggs that 3 of my hens have been using. I float checked them and about a dozen of them tipped up but didn't not float, the rest layed on their side. From what I have read they should all still be edible. We are in a heatwave so not sure...any suggestions?

if they tip slightly, just means they are older.. not bad.. store eggs tip, they are so old by the time you get them.. i would discard any that tip more on the floaty side.. and they are great for scrambling and feeding back to your flock..

That is what I figured...if they didn't taste good to me the "girls" would gladly eat them I am sure!

They are probably all fine, float test is far from black and white.
Open each egg in a dish one at a time before adding to pan or recipe,
you'll know by sight and/or smell whether you want to eat it or not.
