Hey there!
My husband and I have a free range female turkey. Lately she has been entertaining some wild male turkeys. Today, my husband found a large turkey egg laying in our yard alone. I’d like to try and hatch it, or see if it’s “hatchable” we don’t have an incubator unfortunately. Any ideas?!?!?!?!?

If you do a search in the Incubating & Hatching Eggs forum there are a number of threads that deal with people using unorthodox methods to hatch eggs without using an incubator.

The early part of this thread includes @Texas Kiki attempt at hatching without an incubator.

I'd just buy an incubator at Tractor Supply or something, they are fairly cheap for a one-time investment and a lot less hassle than trying to MacGyver something. I bought mine for $140 and after a single rare breed hatch it'll likely pay itself off.
