Four walls in 37F?

hi!
I have my 7 fully feathered chicks in a large dog crate outside at night (waiting for coop to arrive - 9 days left ).Tonight the temp is going to drop to 37 for a Couple hours . I have three sides and the tops covered with heavy wool. The front of the crate is not covered (I have had it covered a little In the past, with plenty of ventilation, but fora long explained reason I dont have the wool cover right now). Should I find a way to cover the front because of the cold? It’s not expected to be windy.

Keep one side open for ventilation. I hope your coop arrives before you encounter more serious issues than cool temps. I am referring to predators. Is there a possibility of putting crate into garage, especially at night???
What is the age of your fully feathered chicks? Most chicks take 8 weeks to accomplish full feathering out.

I’m not concerned about ground predators because we have a high privacy fence around our yard - but this is probably naive !! Raccoons dig and climb and rats are clever. Hmm, maybe I will place them in our shed.

They are all between 10-12 weeks at this point.
