Fowl pox spreading quickly, what can i do :(?

my roo has fowl pox, i discovered it last week and it’s been growing and spreading quickly on his comb and wattle, it’s getting closer to his face everyday and that’s what concerns me because i don’t want him going blind or being in any pain. I’ve been putting neosporin on him every morning and night but i’m not sure what else i can do, i know it passes on it’s own but it takes up to weeks and i don’t even want to imagine it next week, it’s spreading really quickly, what can i give him or do to slow it down?! i’ll post more picutures tomorrow, these are from 2 days ago

There's nothing you can do to stop it. It will run it's course. He doesn't look bad at all.

Hi,
I went through this in September for the 1st time. I posted photos and there's info. there from others comments that may be helpful. (just search Georgia460 under member posts). Also you can search under Fowl Pox as there are many posts by others regarding this disease.
Don't freak out - it's nasty but it does run its course. I chose to go to vet and get respiratory Rx which is a secondary complication that can arise - highly suggest if you go that route to have someone help you to hold chicken, and also search You Tube video for how to administer liquids/oral meds to poultry.
I also found putting warmed Vet Rx under wings at night helped them to breathe (can buy at Jeffers, Amazon, or probably your local feed store). Keep chickens ventilated but out of drafts.

I personally wouldn't. But that's up to you.
About the only thing I'd do is work to keep their environment as dry and clean as possible, perhaps supplement them with Poultry Nutri-drench or Rooster Booster to support their immune system while recovering and keep a close eye on the lesions to ensure they do not become infected.

Oh, wow, yeah, it's up on his comb, too. I really would try lysine every day for a while in his water or mixed with coconut oil and frozen into pieces you can feed him.
Don't know for a fact if it's ok to feed to chickens but it sure helps people with herpes, colds, flu, and even corona viruses. (We found a study in a medical journal that said so, for coronaviruses. The rest I've real life tested.)

I would not put anything on the scabs. Disturbing scabs can spread the virus. Here is some info about fowl pox:
