Recently I have seen symptoms of Fowl Pox in my bantum flock. What do I need to do to keep it from spreading through the rest of my flocks?

How do I treat it for the whole flock even though most don't have it?

Thank you for your help and information. After reading the information I am now treating to prevent secondary infections. I ordered some Bayer tempo to keep flies and misquitoe population down it should come on a couple of days.

It might be good to separate the ones with pox from the others, so it doesn't spread. There is no treatment for the pox virus which is spread by mosquitoes. Do not disturb scabs so as not to spread the virus. Look for any scabs around the eyes which can become infected with secondary bacterial infections. Make sure that all are drinking and eating well.

I have one Porclen D'Uccles that has a Pox on her eyelid and is not eating. I think she is drinking but her weight is lighter then the rest. Gave her some nutri-drinch and it perked her up a little but still don't think she is eating.
