That is a Capercaillie. A type of grouse. Ive been working for several months now to obtain permits so i can raise and own a pair.

That is one Bad-*** bird! He kicked that guy's butt all over the road, and he was gonna take on that semi!
I know them by Auerhuhn, thats is the german name for them. They can cross breed with Birkhuhn.
Larry Csonka hunted for them in Norway on his hunting show. They are very tasty so I understand.
I bet the reporter was wishing he had a gun.
