Fox and dog kennel

Hi all, my run is a dog kennel with 3x3 inch holes in the fence and I’ve recently seen a fox get way too close for comfort. Can a fox fit through that size hole? And if they can fit, would they climb up 3 feet of hardware cloth to do so? I’ve started attaching hardware cloth 3 feet high along the bottom half of it, but I had to leave for work so it’s not finished yet. I do have a hardware cloth apron dug into the ground the whole way around the run.

Fox can jump over 6' fences, but not get through a 3"x3" hole. They could if it was 4"x4". Mink or weasels could though.
