Fox bait for live trap?

Any suggestions for a good/lasting bait for foxes? I have been using raw pork ribs or hip/leg bones, but if they don't go for it on the first night the bait dries out the next day and isn't much use. I need something that doesn't dry/spoil in this Florida heat.

I think my hubby uses urine (a fox not human)..*think* I will ask when he comes home. It is some kind of gland he uses to get them, he never uses food bait.

Hot Dogs...They are pretty cheap and we have caught several thing with them.(dogs, cats, coon and rats) It is worth a try...Every meat eater loves a nasty hot dog. Good luck

Hi Jason, I`ve used a couple whole eggs for years. I change them about once a month and I`ve caught evrything and anything in Fl except a bobcat with them. Had to use a dead hen for the bobcat. Try the eggs. Most predators love an easy meal. If that doesn`t get him, PM me, I`ve got "The Recipe".........Pop
