Fox trouble

How do you get rid of a fox without a steel trap? My cats go outside and my guineas free range so I cannot leave a trap of that nature lying about.

I had the same issue, foxes snagging ducks and guineas, and my cats and dogs around so lethal traps weren't an option. I fenced in the yard with electric net fence, and bought a large cage trap. No luck in trapping him, but the electric fence has greatly reduced my losses. I lost a rooster last week, but as far as I can tell, he flew over the fence to go after the fox, and paid for it with his life. As long as the birds stay in the fence, they are protected.
