Hi,

I have recently only bought my first coop and built my own extension to it as well.
Now I perceive a few week spots and wonder which of them, if any I have to worry about:

Roof:

The roof of my extension is made from Corrugated sheet roofing. I have screws in it every 10 inches and don't thing a fox can get through the gaps, but can they destroy it?
It's currently a 25 inch by 60 inch area with no support other than the frame.

Floor:

At the floor all the chicken fences extend an extra 10 inches along the ground and are anchored to the floor using tent achoring driven all the way into the very hard ground.
yet there is no such extension at the corners and in the original coop where I used some spare chicken fencing anchored onto the floor but not fixet to the coop.

The coop roof:

The coop is designed like the below image. The left hand side of the coop roof can be lifted and there is no way to lock it at the moment. Do foxes jump on top of coops and try that?

Gaps: There are some gaps between the original coop and the extension I built. There are up to 2 inches in width though where they are that wide the fox would have walk through a gap of that with for over a yard. other gaps are all less than an inch. I don't really want to tie them closer, as I want the extension to remain removable and the locking mechanism would not fit any closer. I don't think a fox will be able to open these gaps any wider I tried to pull pretty hard with a mate when we built it.

So if you think any of these are critical weaknesses, please let me know and why so I can mitigate.

Don't know where you are located but around here your coop would be pretty fox proof. Raccoons might be another matter as they will tear things apart and open any unlatched doors/lids to get in. Ours get their training by opening peoples into coolers at provincial parks.....
That two inch gap is also plenty big enough for a weasel to get in if they are in your part of the country.
