I was just in my coop and a dominique hen pooed by my shoe....i noticed something strange about it so I leaned down and say the tiniest whitel worms I have ever seen. They were only milimeters. So know that she has worms what do I do? Since she evidently has worms do I start treating everone?

Could it have anything to do with the fact that they have been drinking ACV in their water for two weeks now. Could the AVC have "expelled" the worms.

Please help. I am not sure what to do at this point.

Thanks,
Clay

Put cayenne pepper in their feed. Chickens cannot taste the spiciness (or they really LIKE it) and it is a good dewormer. Use more than you think you should, a couple tablespoons to a gallon of feed. Diatomaceous earth (DE) is also good for this. I know some people feed it, but I don't know the dose. It is commonly used in bedding and dust baths. It is the skeletal remains of diatoms, and the sharp edges will kill parasites. You can also use it in the garden for slugs and snails, or on your skin as an exfolient! Make sure you remove the poo with worms in it because of recontamination (and because it's on your shoe
