I have the following:
4 sets of tags, numbered 1-25
2 sets of tags, numbered 1-50
Please PM me how many chickens you have and I will send you a set. I'm specifically looking for people with more than ten chickens. I will also send you fasteners, a tagging gun, as well as some directions. All free.
These tags have RFIDs embedded inside of them. The RFID allows you to count and identify your chickens with your phone. A special app is needed (also free, Apple / iOS only at the moment), and a scanner. Unfortunately, the scanners are not free. They are $350. Only iOS is supported at the moment. If you purchase one and don't like it, I will take it back and give you a refund.
What's the catch?
This is a beta product. After you receive your tags and attach them, I would like you to complete a survey (~10 minutes of work) and keep me up to date if any issues arise with those tags.
