i have a one year old duck who is being attacked by the other boys. he is very friendly and is a pekin. he NEEDS to go to a no-kill home with either other ducks, chickens, or geese. and you also must know how to care for ducks and have/had some. i am willing to drive a couple hours to get him a good home but he cannot go to far away in case it doesn’t work out and i need to take him back. again, you cannot take him if you eat your birds because he is a pet and will not go to someone who wants him for meat

A picture would be nice too

he is harness trained, will let you dress him up, and i was working on teaching him some tricks (he will do anything for mealwormsol) he’s basically like a little puppy!

He's precious! I wish I was closer! I'd love a sweet boy like that.

Looks so cute in his birthday shirt!

EDIT: I just realized he's the duck discussed on the other thread. Hope you can find sweet boy a good home!

Is there a way to ship an adult duck? We just lost our little girl(a created Rouen) and we have a 7/8 week old Pekin and 4 chickens. Our Pekin needs a friend now. Her and our Rouen were best buddies pretty sure our Pekin is a girl and it’d be awesome to have some little ones to hatch. He’s such a cutie pie. I shouldn’t have a problem with any other males. Our little bantam we got turned out to be a rooster. But he’s super timid and mellow. So he shouldn’t be a problem I think my girls boss him around more than he does them 😂 I think I’ve fallen in love with him through your pics already 😂 we’d never eat our babies. My dad made a joke ab if we got a pig we had to agree to raise it to eat it. I said absolutely not. I don’t have the heart to be able to do that. Reach back to me if you feel we’re a good fit please. I’m obsessed with how adorable he is. Maybe his sweetness will help my babies with being more eager to come to me.You really have to coarse the chickens. And my Pekin just takes a second to make sure you’re someone she Trusts. Here’s. A pic of my sweet girl. She’s a bit bigger now. But I don’t take many pics they aren’t in this little run. It’s just for some outside time while her and the chickens are still little. And in the brooder. We have2 more add ons to our coop then we’re done. So they’ll be in a good 6x6 coop with a run around the bottom and free ranging until this virus is over and we can get the materials to build a big run around the whole coop. I’ll make sure to keep you updated with pics of him. Ik what it’s like to have to give a pet away.
