Free Parakeets near Houston

This would solve her getting birds and find a new home for birds that need one. It just requires a little extra effort. It's like purchasing a puppy instead of visiting a shelter. The extra effort is on me and I don't mind,.

She can adopt from her local shelter. Many of them have parakeets. Also there might be people in her area that need to find their parakeets new homes. Just my opinion

Maybe the virus??. I don't know but I wouldn't ship parakeets. I think that would probably result in death. Once I find out if there are any, I can address logistics. I think they already have new homes but don't know if they made babies again.

They have already found new homes so I no longer have any to offer. You might try the other posters idea of checking Harris County Humane Society.
