Free range age?

I have 11 4 week old keets and 1 pullet about 16-18 weeks. Can I let them free range during the day. Will they return at night? How soon could I try or are the keets to little still?

What happened to your other pullet? Is she ok?
Guinea hens don't like to free range on their own. I would keep her with the keets who are still much too young to free range.

We lost her and a keet :-(. She got out and never came back :-(. It's fixed now. No more run aways. I was heart broken. Thankful no others got out!

Are they running with chickens? I haven't had a problem with them running away when I let them out but you can always try just letting one or two out and leaving the rest in the run. That should give them incentive to return at night.

They are in the same coop as the chickens but I have them in their own aviary inside the coop so they can fly and they have their own run.
