Check and make sure no one within reasonable distance is missing birds. They can get lost sometimes. We had a bird that wound up 2 hours away from its home that couldn't figure out where he was.

If they are truly free range wild birds, then yes domesticate then and keep them. However if someone does claim them, the polite thing would be to return them, though I’d charge a fee for boarding and feed etc... lol

I think he might have been plucked and then dropped by something. It was crazy, they were so happy to have him back. He was their kid's roo
