Question.. we normally spray for mosquitoes in our backyard. Since getting chickens we allow them to free range when we are home. If we spray this year will that hurt them? Or should we not do it?

HAHAHAHA!!I have no clue if it would hurt them or not but heres a completely crazy suggestion. Get two Muscovy ducks...they gobble down mosquitoes like cake and ice cream!
It could. If we spray this year will that hurt them?
Not sure the new of it. It hooks up to your hose and you spray it in the yard. And maybe twice a year depending on how bad the mosquitoes are.It could.
Not to mention all the other insects,
including predator insects who eat mosquitoes and other pest insects,
it would kill.
How often do you spray and what chemical exactly do you use?
That was what my mom said too...I'd wanted ducks for years, but she always said no. Till Henry came home one night...and she decided that ducks were not so bad after all.HAHAHAHA!!
Wife said NO!!...
Cause yer not an insect!I live where we would not be able to step outside at night if mosquitoes were not controlled. It's not unusual to hear a mosquito truck spraying after dark. That's when they spray, when mosquitoes are active. We are not falling over dead.
