free ranging chickens

I have lots of questions but I'll try keep it specific to their threads. Its summer and apricot season here and I have 9 chickens that love to be free range and roam around three acres and they clean the lawn of fallen apricots. Should I feed them grain still or let them be free range through the summer?

My birds have free choice feed all year; either flock raiser plus calcium, or layena plus calcium, on the side. They free range, and eat much less in the summer, but it's always there! Mary
