Eclipae390: you asked a very valid question BEFORE getting guineas. Sites like this should be a valuable place to learn what to do and what not to do rather than being verbally abused and belittled. I'm so over people that can't share their knowledge and expertise without talking down to someone. If you ask your question before getting the animal you are doing your research! If your own self esteem is so low that you have to belittle people on line go see a therapist

they will be fine if you start out with enough of them...cuz you will lose some. they thrive on one of the deadliest continents in the world they will be fine around your house. keep them put up for about 8 weeks first then let them loose. however you can kiss them goodbye if you live near a road.
