So far, I've just been letting my ducks free range when I am home, but I'm thinking about letting them free range when I'm gone now, since its getting harder for me to pen them up durning the day when I want to leave. They know to go their house when it gets dark, so its easy to shut them up at night, but they wont go to their pen in the day.
If I know I'm going to be leaving, I wont let them out to free range, but I dont always know when I have to leave.
We live on 5 acres and most of it is fenced in, but not very well, since all of the neighbors use different fencing(wooden, barb wire,etc)
