Hi!
A dear friend of mine who is an active (and I do mean ACTIVE) dog rescuer (and rescue coordinator) found herself for the first time rescuing a chicken this weekend. She called me because I'm the only friend she knows who raises chickens - but I cannot take a new rooster at this time. And it's clearly a rooster - do not know the name of the breed, but there's a photo below. It seems healthy. If you are interested, reply to this thread and I will put you in touch with Carolyn. Or you can message her directly at https://www.facebook.com/twotailzk9resq if you're on Facebook. That's the rescue organization she founded. Just be sure to tell her that you heard about the chicken in need of a new home from Julianne on backyard chickens, so she knows you're ok!
Thanks!
Hoping to re-home this cute guy quickly!!
