I hate to give this one up but I can't keep a rooster. He's about 4 months old, very sweet and not yet crowing. Today I have seen him mount a couple of the girls for a few seconds. He's not been one I could pick up but runs up for treats when I go out to check on them and has been a very calm chicken. He will also take treats out of my hand. My best guess on his breed is that the person I got him from said he could be a Cochin mix. I honestly am not sure, she had EE hens and a Cochin hen, her roo's I have no idea. he does have what I thought would be ear muffs and a beard but about the time I really noticed them they did not grow anymore so may not be that...
I will not ship him, I am in North Texas - Collin County and will consider driving to meet if it's not too far.
