I have three roosters that I am giving away.
The first one is a Rhode Island Red that is just about 2 years old. He is a very handsome rooster and is very good at protecting his flock. However, we have company with small children often enough and I am tired to worrying that he is going to hurt one of the children one day. He has never hurt anyone but has attempted to go after myself and my husband a few times. We usually remind him with a good kick or a swat with a broom and that cures him for a few months. But he is doing his job as a rooster!
Then I have two White Leghorn roosters that are about three months old. We ordered more "hens" this spring but got two more roosters!
They are typical White Leghorn's that are hyper and run like crazy! They already have large red combs and are crowing away!
If anyone is interested I can send you pictures of any of the roosters- I can meet you somewhere to hand over the roosters within a reasonable distance-
