Have some Rhode island's and some barred rocks I need gone. I have 19 mature chickens and 10 are roosters, they've got to go before they start hurting my hens. And one today almost killed one of my female biddies with me standing not two foot away. They've got to go. Please someone come get them. Rather not kill them if I don't have to.

Might want to try posting on your state thread (in the Where am I forum), and craigslist. Until you can find someone to take them separate the hens.

Thank you. I appreciate the advice. The only problem I have with separating them is the materials to do it with. I've got the space in the pen for them. Don't have a second coop tho so I'm not sure what to do about that to make them a separate area to keep them. .

I'd find any way possible - dog crates, cheap kennel run on craigslist, garden fencing, etc. Ten hormonal cockerels and only 9 females is going to get bad and fast. Or find a local poultry processor.

I know this is a little off subject hun but did you buy or hatch these birds?
My mom bought them. Most were runs. The one pullet she bought turned out to be a rooster too, but we're keeping silkie Harry(no longer Harriet lol). He tends to get chased the most out of the young roosters. . . My parents kept swearing up and down a few months back there would be no more roosters (the one Rhode Island we had I got rid of before he started becoming more aggressive then I would put up with, having a 4 yr old around).
