I bought a half dozen eggs from the local farmers market just for something to put in the incubator and experiment with. I had read about dyeing chicks on a thread from last year so I decided to give it a try with 4 of the eggs. The eggs were refrigerated when I bought them, but I got 3 out of 6 to hatch. One of the other eggs appears to have been infertile, and two others were fully formed but failed to pip for some reason and were dead in the egg when I opened them. I have no idea what type they are, but the eggs were nice large brown eggs. If anyone local to Ocala FL wants them they are free to the first person that can pick them up. Sorry, I am not willing to ship them. Thanks.

Hey, I was just wondering how you colored the babies? Can you post a link to the info on that, please? Thanks,

Yes Please post a link or how to go about doing this and do they stay that way or will it fade as they grow?
Just think of the rainbow of colors that could be created.

Thanks

Please be careful, magicians in good standing can be exempt from this (as the animals are assets and are properly cared for (doves) )
