I've tried rescues( way to far) and my local chicken Facebook group. There's no adult females or sexed ducklings for sale. A few looks at Craigslist have brought me nothing.
Has anyone used this hatchery? Good or bad? Also, are this hatcheries muscovies able to live out a healthy 'pet' life. Or are they like certain meat breeds in chickens that need to be processed? I've already emailed the hatchery asking this question, but I wanted to see if anybody here knows already.
I have 6 muscovies now, I want to get more females since I have two drakes and don't want over breeding to become a problem in the future.
