Freedom Rangers as Egg Layers?

I've got 6 Freedom Rangers left to butcher from my original order of 25. One of the chickens is very pretty and not very big. Because we are short on egg layers, I am wondering if a Freedom Ranger might be an acceptable egg producer? Comments/feedback appreciated....

Thanks for the reply. Does your Freedom Ranger fly? <LOL>. I ask because my nest boxes are about 5 feet off the ground with a ramp that's about 1 foot off the ground. Stupid dogs kept getting the eggs ..............
