Freehling Farms

I responded in the pa section but in general I had a great experience with them for my first time. I picked up a total of 12 chicks and a guinnea fowl. Only lost one and that was due to my own ignorance. They were easy to be ahold of and very friendly to deal with.

Just spoke with a co worker who gave me information about this local farm, stated they had great chickens and great prices, was also able to get feed and equipment from them also!!!

We got our chicks from them this spring. Great experience and will be returning this coming spring for turkeys and Cornish X. Definitely the best place in the greater Pittsburgh area for poultry.

I thought I'd update this thread with my experience this year. I have gone to freehlings a few times this year and they have not let me down. Every time I went I found beautiful birds and friendly people. I recommend them to anyone willing to drive. It's well worth the trip.

Freeling's is absolutely wonderful! I got my 1st chicks there this spring and they were not only friendly, but a wealth of information. I contacted them several times with questions and they replied within hours each time. They even exchanged 2 roosters for me that I got out of the original batch oHicks.

Fantastic farm! We got our first chicks there this August. As you can imagine, we had tons of questions. Christiana and her husband took a lot of time to answer our questions and pick our chicks. They have a "rooster round up" to help with unwanted roosters which is very helpful for many backyard farmers. Highly recommend! Great prices and they have all the necessities for start up.

Hi, in Western PA for many years. Since 2005 when we first started in Poultry, have heard nothing bad about Freehling Farms,
Best, Karen
