Sometimes it gets cut back too much(by predators), but it will always grow back.

Does that mean that my hair will be long by spring when I get my new coop and feathered-ones? (I just got it cut!) Thanks for the "words of wisdom", sometimes we lose perspective.

I've definitly had those bad haircuts before and so looked forward to the growth...But as I said it always grows back. So yours will too. They say there is a certain time of the moon to have your haircut that will make it grow faster and a certain time that will make it grow slower, so if you're trying a new style then it would be better to have it cut at the time it will make it grow faster in case you don't like it.

ETA: Okay so I just went a little off topic...Anyone else have any of these little anecdotes to add?
