I have 4 brown Chinese geese, 8 ducks and 6 guinea hens that all live together in a big coop, and it's supposed to get below freezing tonight. I have a flat panel heater mounted on the wall for the guineas, but I worry so much about the geese and ducks. Will they be okay without a heat lamp? The heat lamp I have doesn't seem to warm anything up and I worry about the fire hazard it presents, and all the feed/livestock stores around me are out of bedding. Any suggestions? I'm so worried about them.

Healthy birds that are accustomed to their environment usually do fine without additional heat as long as they can get out of the prevailing winds and stay dry. Geese (I don't know much about different geese) usually are pretty hardy in cold. Ducks much depends on the breed. If they are in the coop, as long as it's well ventilated, then they are usually fine. A coop with inadequate ventilation can increase risk of frostbite from the moisture from their respirations building up inside the coop. Many traditional coop set ups had a completely open side of the building (not facing the prevailing winds) and were used even in the far, far north.
This is a pretty good article that covers cold weather and coops, insulation etc. :

Heat lamps are really dangerous, and coops burn down every year because of them.
