Freezing tonight! please help

Tonight is going to be very cold and I need to know how to heat up a chicken coop without using any type of light because it could catch on fire. I only have three chickens, so their house is a small wooden box. Any ideas?

Keep it dry, filled with bedding, free from drafts and they will be fine.

Chickens are quite hardy. Just do what sour land said. Don't let it become wet inside. Clean it out often as poop is wet. And to save you trouble, hook up a water heater.

Make sure they have fresh dry bedding close any windows and make sure draft free also as preventive measure you can put some petroleum jelly on the combs and wattles. We had about 4in of snow and my main flock is all nice and snuggly. Now my bantams that is a different story as I have Seramas who do not do well in the cold.
