Freezing veggies for ducks

If you stock up and freeze veggies for the ducks over the winter, do they still have to be blanched?

Not sure? That's nice you are freezing veggies for your ducks though. They will appreciate that in the winter when there are no fresh greens around.

I do it for my chickens and never blanch them, although they are only in my freezer for no more than a few weeks
