Need help with freezing water? Well I know what to do! First buy extra waters. Then when you wake up to go water your chickens, there is extra water they can have while you fix the ice. Pour hot water on the ice. Let it sit for a while. Go back and check on it. When the ice is gone, you can give the water back to the chickens and take the extras out. If it is thin ice, then you can get it out with a stick and not worry about hot water. That should help!😁

Just a tip, i bought some rubber black feed bowls. I fill then up with fresh water in the morning. Overnight they freeze, but i can flip them over, stomp on the bottom and the ice block pops right out. Then i can fill it again.
It saves me a ton of time "thawing" their regular waterers each morning.
