French Wheaten Maran Cockerel Needs Loving Home

Hello from the Seattle area! - I have one lovely French Wheaten Maran Cockerel available for a good home. He is healthy and will make a very handsome rooster, however, I cannot have him in my city. He is just over a week old and does well with his two pullet companions. I purchased him along with the other two from Wilco in Puyallup, Washington when only a day old - of course I was hoping for only pullets - lol. Let me know if you are interested.

I wish I was ready for another one! They look so perfect!! Did you vent sex him? Or how did you find out he was a roo? My first hatch of BCM chicks is just starting their 6th week, and I'm about 90% sure of their genders... still learning!! (I'm in Southern Idaho.)

Good morning from the Seattle area ZZZ - I was very happy to find my chick a new home at the Happy Rooster Farm (which takes roosters and hens). I did not have the chicks vent sexed, which still doesn't help much with the FWM anyway, but just watching the three of them, I guessed he was a roo from his characteristics and his different feathering. We'll find out. For all I know I sent my one hen away and now have two roosters! lol - I'll let you know when I know for sure. Blessings
