Fresh eggs

How long will fresh eggs last till they need to be refrigerated. I know people that keep them up to a week. What are your thoughts?

I've kept mine out 3 weeks; sometime a little more. I get nervous going any longer than that. Important - do not wash them. Once you wash them, they have to go in the fridge.

I probably err on the side of caution, but I only let them sit for 2-3 days. If they haven't gone in the fridge by then, they're dog or chicken snacks.
