The egg whites do not sit up pretty. I was taught that one can tell the freshness of eggs or if the hen is old by how well the egg white layers. Our hens are not old; the eggs are fresh; but the egg whites tend to run all over the pan. The hens are combo meat-egg. They are in excellent health and free range.

Egg whites are primarily (90%) water. They do run all over the pan for this reason. I have no idea if it matters that you have no rooster and the eggs are unfertilized???

What breed?
What all and how exactly are you feeding?

I sometimes find thin egg whites in eggs that I buy from the store. If it has to do with water content, I wonder if very fresh eggs would be runnier than older eggs.
Do all your chickens lay watery eggs? All the time?
