Frizzels and the rest of the barnyard flock...

My 6 yr old son is dying to have a Frizzel. Or is it Frizzle? I was told they get picked on by "other" chickens due to their "ornamental" qualities/feathers. He also wants a Naked Neck Turkin. Is this true for either? Currently we have adult Orpingtons and Speckled Sussex but have plans to expand the flock with various layers in the form of a batch of chicks.

We have two black Frizzles, a female and a male. They don't get picked on by others for their feathers, but they are not my favourite chicken at all. The rooster makes a sound like a screaming child, and the female can't get onto the roost.
