Frizzle Gender?

He/She has more developed comb and waddles than our other chicks the same age. We have also heard crowing.

5-6 months old

Well it's actually a Cochin that is not frizzled, my little Cochin roosters have combs like that at three months. If it's actually 5-6 months than its probably a hen whose about to start laying. And it would be crowing by now if it was a rooster.

He's not a frizzle, he's a red cochin cockerel.

Haha. Well that's good to know. Kid at the feed store said it was a frizzle. She's very small much smaller than even a silkie we have that is the same age.
